Here’s a grand opportunity to enjoy the beautiful horses of the Omaha Police Mounted Patrol without the stresses of large crowds, noise, and hubbub. If you’ve opted to skip the annual Holiday Lights Festival, because you know you or your family member just can’t function in huge crowds and large noises, this small and intimate event is designed especially for you!
Tour the stables and meet these wonderful horses in their home. You’ll be able to pet them, watch them go through their paces, and visit with some of the officers, all under holiday lights and with supporting activities to ensure no one has to wait in line. There will be a quiet room to ensure each person has a place to take a break if needed. Free hot dog lunch will be provided.
