(FUN AND COMMUNITY WITHOUT THE GERMS!) T-shirts are still being mailed to all participants and we will still be awarding fundraising prizes.

ONLINE STORYBOARDS WITH ART FROM THE AUTISM COMMUNITY
We need your Help! It is a relatively simple thing that can be done. For the Autism Society of Nebraska’s Virtual Funfest, Janine Brooks and Minadora Macheret will be creating storyboards designed to be presented alongside some popular children’s literature—· Chicken in the Kitchen (Nnedi Okorafor)
· Stone Soup (Jon Muth)
· Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type (Doreen Cronin)
· Dr. Seuss’s ABC: An Amazing Alphabet Book (Dr. Seuss)
To participate, all you need do is create a picture using whatever medium you desire. Put your name on it somewhere (if you wish so that you receive credit for your efforts). Take a picture of your artwork: send the .jpg to Janine.firstname.lastname@example.org
so that she can add it to the storyboard. This activity is made available to all ages. Storyboards will be presented on April 18, 2020, during the Virtual Funfest. Email Janine if you have additional questions.
Books can be found online in Youtube for in the event you are unfamiliar with the stories.
AMC is proud to partner with the Autism Society to offer unique movie showings where they turn the lights up, and turn the sound down, so you can get up, dance, walk, shout or sing! The Sensory Friendly Film program is available on the second and fourth Saturday (family-friendly) and Tuesday evenings (mature audiences) of every month. Please check your local theatre listings for specific showtimes.
