Omaha Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Logo The Autism Society Omaha Support Network has many opportunities where you can help us improve the lives of ALL affected by autism.  We are always needing extra hands to help out!   Here are just a few ways you can help make a difference here in Omaha!

  • Provide child supervision during monthly Pump It Up Support Group
  • Become a buddy during family events (Roller Skating, Swimming, Bowling, etc)
  • Event set up, supervision of craft or game stations, grilling and serving yummy food at family events

The Autism Society works hard to create activities out in the community where individuals with autism can experience life first hand.  We have created inclusive events where our young ones made memories with Santa and the Easter Bunny.  We’ve created sensory friendly movies, pool parties, bowling, roller skating events and the list goes on.   These are childhood memories that we feel EVERYONE should have a chance to experience! But autism is not just a childhood issue.  We are also working hard to create teen and adult activities.  Inclusion needs to be a lifelong process!    As a volunteer for the Autism Society, you will be able to use your strengths and interests to help make a difference in the lives of ALL affected by autism!   We are confident that the experience will undoubtedly touch your heart!
