From D. Diane C. Marti, Ph.D.

Earlier this year, I attended the American Psychological Association Practice Organizations conference in Washington, D.C.  With my colleagues and friends, I advocated for the mental and behavioral health needs for all Nebraskans. I am proud to support the ASN Board Members as they advocate in DC this summer for those affected by autism!

Board Members to attend important legislative advocacy efforts in D.C.

This summer, Autism Society of Nebraska will send three (3) board members to the Washington, D.C. area to participate in important legislative advocacy efforts to ensure that Nebraska can continue to become more inclusive and accepting of people affected by autism. The cost will approach $6,000 and ASN seeks to cover these expenses entirely through philanthropy.

You can help!

If you are like us and you are interested in an inclusive Nebraska where all people have a voice, would you consider an ADVOCACY SPONSORSHIP gift of $1,000, $500, $250, or an amount that is meaningful to you? Your gift will be used  to pay the expenses associated with sending these board members to the 50th Annual Autism Society National Conference and Autism Society of America Day on the Hill in Washington, D.C.

You may make your gift online through our safe, secure PayPal form at www.autismnebraska.org/donate-2/ or by mailing a check to ASN P.O. Box 83559 Lincoln, NE 68501. Installment plans are available if you would prefer to make your donation over the course of the next several months. If you have any questions, you may contact Autism Society of Nebraska’s Director of Development, Kevin Mahler, at 402.216.8766.

We are so grateful for your support and your shared belief that advocates like us can affect change and make a difference. We are working toward creating a Nebraska that is welcoming and inclusive of all people affected by autism.

In solidarity,

Dr. Diane C. Marti, Ph.D., Psychologist
